U sklopu obilježavanja 170. godišnjice otkrića fotografije, u pulskom Kaštelu, 24. lipnja 2009. godine u 20 sati, održat će se otvaranje «Izložbe fotografija u Istri do 1918. godine», uzetih iz fundusa zbirke fotografija, negativa i fotografske opreme». Bit će predstavljeno 300 –tinjak najstarijih originalnih fotografija, nastalih od kraja 1850. godine do kraja Prvog Svjetskog Rata. Izradili su ih poznati istarski fotografi i fotografski ateljei, Luigi Caenazzo, Luigi Mioni, Blasius Circovich, Cesare Gallinaro, Giovanni Bonivento i mnogi drugi.
Autorica izložbe i stručnog kataloga je Lana Skuljan, kustosica Povijesnog muzeja Istre i voditeljica gore spomenute Zbirke. I.R.
On the 24th of June 2009 at 8 p.m. at the Pula Castle opens the «Exhibition of the Istrian Photographs until 1918». The exhibition, staged within the framework of the 170th anniversary of discovery of photography, will encompass the photographs from the collection holdings, negatives and photographic equipment. About 300 of the oldest original photographs will be presented to the public. These were taken by renowned Istrian photographers Luigi Caenazzo, Luigi Mioni, Blasius Circovich, Cesare Gallinaro, Giovanni Bonivento and others in the period between the late 185os and the end of the World War I.
The author of the exhibition and the special catalogue is Lana Skuljan, curator of the Istrian Museum of History and the supervisor of the aforementioned collection.
