U petak 17. i subo­tu 18. srp­nja odr­žat će se 15.-ti po redu «Novigrad – Cittanova Music Nights”, na koje­mu će nas­tu­pi­ti svjet­ski poz­na­ti ino­zem­ni glaz­be­ni­ci, ali i popu­lar­ni hrvat­ski izvođači.

On the 17th and the 18th of July Novigrad will host the 15th «Novigrad – Cittanova Music Nights» fes­ti­val, which will once aga­in gat­her renowned inter­na­ti­onal musi­ci­ans and popu­lar Croatian performers.

Il 17e il 18 luglio si ter­rà il 15° «Novigrad – Cittanova Music Nights». Si esi­bi­ran­no mol­ti musi­cis­ti famo­si, cro­ati e di fama mondiale.

Program 17. srp­nja zapo­či­nje na Velikom trgu u Novigradu zajed­nič­kim nas­tu­pom izvr­s­nog tali­jan­skog blu­es gita­ris­te Mikea Sponze, nje­go­vog blu­es ban­da i Joyce Yuille, biv­še mane­ken­ke i reno­mi­ra­ne jazz pje­va­či­ce pori­jek­lom iz SAD –a koja živi i radi u Italiji. Nakon njih, kon­cert u afro-kuban­skom rit­mu odr­žat će gru­pa «Cubismo» iz Hrvatske. Slijedi after par­ty u «Waikiki» beach baru uz etno punk bend «Cinkuši». Drugoga dana, 18. srp­nja nas­tu­pa­ju Ana Popović i blu­es band iz Srbije, koji odlič­no spa­ja­ju više glaz­be­nih sti­lo­va poput fun­kya, soula, roc­ka, psi­ho­de­li­je, jazza, r & b –ija i bluesa.

U nas­tav­ku pro­gra­ma kon­cert će odr­ža­ti poz­na­ta bri­tan­ska blu­es gru­pa iz sedam­de­se­tih godi­na «Nine below zero», na čelu s osni­va­či­ma Dennisom Greavesom (gitara/vokal) i Markom Felthamom (usna har­mo­ni­ka). Na after par­tyju u beach baru «Waikiki» svi­rat će novi­grad­ska hard blu­es gru­pa «Vervet». (I.R.)

The pro­gram­me starts on the 17th of July at the Grand Square in Novigrad with the joint per­for­man­ce of the gre­at Italian blu­es guita­rist Mike Sponza, his blu­es band and Joyce Yuille, for­mer model and dis­tin­gu­ished jazz sin­ger from the USA who cur­ren­tly lives and wor­ks in Italy. After the­ir per­for­man­ce fol­lows the con­cert of Afro-Cuban rhyt­h­ms by the Croatian band «Cubismo». The «Waikiki» beach bar will host the after par­ty and the con­cert of the eth­no-punk band «Cinkuši».

On the 18th of July fol­lows the con­cert of Ana Popović and the blu­es band from Serbia. They will pre­sent an excel­lent com­bi­na­ti­on of dif­fe­rent music styles, such as funk, soul, rock, psyc­ho­de­lia, jazz, r’n’b and blu­es. Their per­for­man­ce will be fol­lowed by the con­cert of the «Nine below Zero», the famo­us British blu­es band from the 70’s foun­ded by Dennis Greaves (guitar, vocal) and Mark Feltham (har­mo­ni­ca). The after par­ty will be hos­ted by the «Waikiki» beach bar, whe­re the audi­en­ce will have the oppor­tu­nity to hear the hard blu­es band «Vervet» from Novigrad.
