U novigradskom muzeju «Lapidarium» u utorak 28. srpnja 2009. u 21 sat održat će se otvorenje vrhunske tematske izložbe pod nazivom «Eros Kalos».
Riječ je o sagledavanju erotske tematike u grafici i fotografiji kroz koju likovni kritičar i kurator projekta, Brane Kovič sučeljava različite autorske pristupe ikonografiji erotizma u najširem smislu riječi, od eksplicitnih, implicitnih i simboličkih vizura, u vremenskom rasponu od secesije do sadašnjosti.
On the 28th of July at 9 p.m. the Lapidarium Museum in Novigrad will host the opening of the excellent thematic exhibition titled «Eros Kalos».
The exhibition represents the consideration of eroticism through graphics and photographs. In this analysis Brane Kovič, the critic and the curator of the project, confronts different approaches to the iconography of eroticism in the full sense of the word; from the explicit to the implicit and simbolic aspects, covering the time span from the secessionist period to the present.
Il 28 luglio 2009, alle ore 21, nel museo «Lapidarium» di Cittanova verrà aperta la mostra tematica «Eros Kalos».
Il tema erotico nelle grafiche e nella fotografia si sviluppa attraverso diversi approcci, quello esplicito, implicito e simbolico, nel lasso di tempo che va dalla secessione alla contemporaneità.
U izbor su uključena mnoga znana i nezaobilazna imena iz područja moderne i suvremene likovne i fotografske produkcije unutar posljednjih stotinjak godina, počevši od austrijskog secesioniste Egona Schiele‑a, za kojim s grafičkim listovima slijede Pablo Picasso, André Masson, Leonor Fini, Shu Takahashi, Miroslav Šutej, Andi Warhol i Tom Wesselmann te mladi autori poput Sevde Chkoutove i Frédérica Légilsea koji će na izložbi biti predstavljen originalnim crtežima.
Osim toga bit će predstavljene i fotografije avangardnog eksperimentatora Man Raya, kontroverznog japanskog majstora Nobuyoshi Arakija, velikog Helmuta Newtona, Ralpha Gibsona, Jeanloup Sieff te fotografije kultne američke autorice Nan Goldin i Sam Taylor Wood, jedne od protagonistkinja suvremene britanske umjetničke scene.
Izložba se može pogledati u radno vrijeme muzeja: od 10 do 13 i od 18 do 23 sata sve do 26. kolovoza.
Ponedjeljkom i praznikom je zatvoreno. (I. R.)
The selection includes numerous renowned and unavoidable figures of the modernist period and the contemporary art and photographic production, starting with the Austrian secessionist Egon Schiele, continuing with Pablo Picasso and his graphics, André Masson, Leonor Fini, Shu Takahashi, Miroslav Šutej, Andy Warhol, Tom Wesselman and the young authors, such as Sevda Chkoutova and Frédéric Légilse, who will be represented by original drawings.
Beside the aforementioned, the exhibition will also represent the phographs of the avantgarde experimenter Man Ray, the controversial Japanese master Nobuyoshi Araki, the great Helmut Newton, Ralph Gibson, Jeanloup Sieff and the photographs by the legendary American author Nan Goldin and Sam Taylor Wood, one of the protagonists of the contemporary British art scene.
The exhibition is on view until the 26th of July, during work days from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m. and from 6 p.m. till 11 p.m.
Closed on Sundays and holidays.
Verranno presentati i lavori di famosi molti pittori e fotografi che hanno operato negli ultimi cento anni, tra cui: Egon Schiele, Pablo Picasso, André Masson, Leonor Fini, Shu Takahashi, Miroslav Šutej, Andi Warhol i Tom Wesselmann e i giovani Sevda Chkoutova e Frédéric Légilse che esibiranno i disegni originali.
Inoltre, saranno presenti anche i lavori di Man Ray, Nobuyoshi Araki, Helmut Newton, Ralph Gibson, Jeanloup Sieff, Nan Goldin e Sam Taylor Wood.
La mostra sarà aperta fino al 26 agosto, dalle ore 10 alle 13 e dalle ore 18 alle 23.
