U utorak, 14. srpnja, na Trgu Tomasa Bemba u Balama održat će se gala koncert grožnjanske etnojazz radionice. Big band sastavljen od 25 polaznika radionice, koji stižu iz cijeloga svijeta, predstavit će se raznovrsnim programom. Koncert će se održati u sklopu Kulturnog ljeta u Balama u organizaciji Udruge za kulturu «Kamene priče», a početak programa najavljen je za 21 sat. Nakon koncerta slijedi druženje uz glazbene improvizacije u konobi «Kamene priče».
On the 14th of July the Tomaso Bembo Square in Bale will host the gala performance of the Grožnjan Ethno-Jazz Workshop. The Big Band, which gathers 25 participants of the workshop from all over the world, will present their work through a diverse programme. The concert is taking place within the framework of the Culture Summer in Bale organized by the «Kamene priče» Cultural Association. The performance will start at 9 p.m. and after the concert everybody is invited to join the musicians at the «Kamene priče» restaurant for a jam session.
Osim u ovom koncertu, posjetitelji će tijekom ovog ljeta u Balama moći uživati u raznim glazbenim poslasticama. Tako već 22. srpnja nastupa HGM Big Band pod ravnanjem Sigija Feigla, a sljedećeg dana publici će se predstaviti kvartet Dinka Stipaničeva, koji će izvoditi skladbe slavnog Djanga Reinhardta. 31. srpnja uslijedit će koncert orkestra Zazophonic iz Grenoblea i otvaranje izložbe slikara Borisa Bučana.
Također, od 1. do 5. kolovoza u Balama će se održavati «Last Minute Open Jazz Festival». Dvanaest pomno odabranih bendova jamče odličnu zabavu, a prema riječima organizatora, ovogodišnji će festival biti jači i kvalitetniji od protekla dva. (I.B.)
This summer Bale will offer a whole range of musical delicacies. On the 22nd of July the audience will have the opportunity to hear the HGM Big Band conducted by Sigi Feigl, and the next day Bale will host a concert of the Dinko Stipaničev Quartet, which will present the compositions by the famous Django Reinhardt. On the 31st of July follows the concert of the Zazophonic Orchestra from Grenoble and the opening of the exhibition of works by the painter Boris Bučan.
From the 1st to the 5th of August the Bale Culture Summer will host the «Last Minute Open Jazz Festival». Twelve carefully chosen bands guarantee fun, and according to the organizer, this year’s festival will be even better than the past two editions.
