U subotu, 25 srpnja u 21 sat na trgu Slobode u Poreču nastupa Puhački orkestar iz Velike Britanije «Hampshire County Band».
Osnovan je 1963. godine, a čine ga 50-ak izuzetno talentiranih školaraca, glazbenika. Riječ je o bendu koji postiže zavidne rezultate u Velikoj Britaniji, a tijekom godine nastupa diljem zemlje, uključujući i famozni «Royal Albert Hall» u Londonu. Proglašeni su tzv. „National Youth Brass Band Champions of Great Britain” 1997. godine.
Osim u Poreču orkestar će u mjesecu srpnju nastupiti diljem Hrvatske. Glazbeni ravnatelj benda je Jock McKenzie. (I. R.)
On the 25th of July at 9 p.m. the Liberty Square in Poreč will host the «Hampshire County Band», a brass orchestra from Great Britain.
The orchestra was founded in 1963 and it gathers about 50 extremely talented school children. They have performed all over Great Britain, including the famous «Royal Albert Hall» in London, and have achieved great success. In 1997 they have been pronounced the «National Youth Brass Band Champions of Great Britain».
They will put on a series of concerts all across Croatia under the guidance of Jock McKenzie.

Sabato, 25 luglio, alle ore 21, in Piazza della libertà di Parenzo, si esibirà l’Orchestra d’ottoni dalla Gran Bretagna, il «Hampshire County Band».
È stato costituito nel 1963 ed è composto da una cinquantina di alunni, musicisti di talento. Si tratta di un complesso che ha conseguito risultati invidiabili in Gran Bretagna e che, durante l’anno, si esibisce in tutto il paese, incluso il famoso «Royal Albert Hall» di Londra. Nel 1997, sono stati nominati „National Youth Brass Band Champions of Great Britain”.
Accanto all’esibizione a parenzo, nel mese di luglio l’orchestra sarà ospite di altre città della Croazia. Il direttore musicale della band è Jock McKenzie.
