U petak, 17. srpnja u 21 sat u Crkvi Rođenja Blažene Djevice Marije u Labinu koncert će održati «Duo lirico».
On the 17th of July at 9 p.m. the Church of the Birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Labin will host the koncert of the «Duo Lirico».
U duetu nastupaju svjetski poznata sopranistica Lidija Horvat-Dunjko i Saša Dejanović virtuoz na gitari, oboje iz Hrvatske.
Ova svjetski poznata operna pjevačica dobitnica je mnogih državnih i međunarodnih nagrada i priznanja među kojima je i najviše hrvatsko državno priznanje za zasluge u kulturi – «Orden reda Danice Hrvatske» s likom Marka Marulića. Nastupala je u više od trideset velikih opernih uloga u zemlji i inozemstvu (Kraljica noći, kći pukovnije, Rozina, Gilda i Blonda), a nastupa i u izvedbama opereta i mjuzikala. Svojim je recitalima osvojila publiku od Pariza, Beča, Berlina, Münchena, Bruxellesa, Dublina, Moskve, Salzburga, Torina, Venecije, Züricha, Ženeve, Zagreba, Ljubljane, Madrida, Santiaga de Chile i Lisabona, sve do Toronta, Buenos Airesa, Johannesburga i Pretorije.
Surađuje s najvećim pjevačkim imenima današnjice, s najeminentnijim dirigentima i orkestrima, a članica je i nekoliko baroknih ansambala. Mnogi hrvatski i inozemni skladatelji posvetili su joj svoja djela te je do sada snimila 15 CD albuma. Uz izuzetno bogatu umjetničku aktivnost uspješno se bavi i pedagoškim radom kao docent na Muzičkoj akademiji u Zagrebu.
Nju će na gitari pratiti Saša Dejanović, porijeklom iz BiH. Završio je Glazbenu akademiju u Sarajevu i u Zagrebu kod prof. Mile Rakanovića i prof. Ištvana Römera. Do devetnaeste godine osvojio je niz važnih gitarskih natjecanja i dobio stipendiju Fonda za stipendiranje mladih glazbenika Ive Pogorelića i Koncertne direkcije Zagreb. Zahvaljujući tome, uči na «Academiji Internazionale Superiore di Musica» kod prof. Angela Gilardina.
Završava studij i na prestižnom «Royal College of Music» u Londonu. Usavršavanje nastavlja na brojnim majstorskim tečajevima Davida Russela, Huberta Käppela, Neila Smitha, Roberta Aussele i Wolfganga Lendla.
Nastupao je u vodećim koncertnim dvoranama kao što su Philharmonie (Köln), Kursahl (Wiesbaden), Deutschen Oper Am Rhein (Düsseldorf), Johannes Brahms Saal (Karlsruhe), Bachsaal (Aschaffenburg), Vatroslav Lisinski, Hrvatski glazbeni zavod, Muzej Mimara (Zagreb), Jean Renoir (Paris), Kitara (Saporro), Teatro Colon and Teatro Nacional “Cervantes” (Buenos Aires), Real Coliseo (El Escorial), Teatro Monumnetal, Ateneo and CC de la Villa (Madrid),
Caja Madrid (Aranjuez and Barcelona), Conde de Ansures and Auditorio de Ferias (Valladolid), Auditorio Alfredo Kraus (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria). Bio je gost brojnih festivala i snimio je brojne nosače zvuka.
Živi i radi na relaciji Madrid – Vrsar, gdje svake godine organizira tradicionalni ljetni glazbeni festival «More i gitare».

The members of the duo are the world-class Croatian soprano Lidija Horvat-Dunjko and Saša Dejanović, guitar virtuoso.
Lidija Horvat-Dunjko, accomplished opera singer, has been awarded many national and international prizes and acknowledgments, such as the highest Croatian national acknowledgment for Merits in Culture. She has performed in more than 30 operas in Croatia and abroad, beside her roles in operettas and musicals. She has astonished the audience in towns such as Paris, Vienna, Berlin, Munich, Bruxelles, Dublin, Moscow, Salzburg, Torino, Venice, Zürich, Geneva, Zagreb, Ljubljana, Madrid, Santiago de Chile, Lisbon, Toronto, Buenos Aires, Johannesburg and Pretoria. She works with the greatest contemporary artists, the eminent conductors and orchestras, and she is also a member of several baroque ensembles. She has also released 15 CDs and numerous Croatian and foreign composers have dedicated their works to her. Beside her rich artistic career she also works as a docent at the Academy of Music in Zagreb.
She will be accompanied by Saša Dejanović, a guitarist virtuoso of Bosnian origins. He has graduated from the Academies of Music in Sarajevo and Zagreb (professors: Mile Rakanović and Ištvan Römer). By the age of 19 he has already won a series of prizes and the scholarship of the foundation for young musicians founded by Ivo Pogorelić and the Concert Managment Zagreb. Thanks to this grant he has studied at the «Academia Internazionale Superiore di Musica», under the guidance of the professor Angelo Gilardino. He has also graduated from the prestigious «Royal College of Music» in London and attended master workshops led by David Russel, Hubert Käppel, Neil Smith, Robert Aussele and Wolfgang Lendl.
