U petak, 17. srp­nja u 21 sat, glum­ci zagre­bač­kog Kazališta «Merlin» odi­grat će pred­sta­vu «Mali princ» na loka­ci­ji «kod špi­ne» u Labinu.

On the 17th of July 2009 at 9 p.m. the actors of the «Merlin» Theatre from Zagreb will pre­sent the play «The Little Prince» at the loca­ti­on known as «at the faucet» in Labin.

Prema poz­na­tom dje­lu fran­cu­skog pis­ca Antoine de Saint Exupery –a, «Merlin» je na svoj način ispri­čao pri­ču o dje­ča­ku koji je odlu­čio oti­ći sa svog pla­ne­ta kako bi upoz­nao sve­mir te putem doživ­lja­va broj­ne susre­te i izne­na­đe­nja, ponaj­vi­še s lju­di­ma koji­ma nosi naj­ve­ću poru­ku: «Možda život i nije tako kom­pli­ci­ran ako…».

Nastavak se kri­je u ovoj dina­mič­noj, 45 –to minut­noj pred­sta­vi, koja je od svo­je pre­mi­je­re 2001. godi­ne do danas, odi­gra­na više od dvjes­to i pede­set puta širom Hrvatske.

U glav­nim ulo­ga­ma nas­tu­pa­ju: Ivan Horvat, kao mali princ; Ana Merlin, koja glu­mi neko­li­ko ulo­ga: ružu, pilo­ta, kra­lja, vino­pi­ju, lisi­cu i vlak; i glu­mac Petar Leventić koji nas­tu­pa u ulo­zi pos­lov­nog čovje­ka, uobra­žen­ka, zmi­je i vla­ka. Dramatizaciju i reži­ju ostva­ri­li su Ana i Luka Merlin, osni­va­či Kazališta «Merlin». (I. R.)

The «Merlin» Theatre has cre­ated the­ir own inter­pre­ta­ti­on of the famo­us work by the French wri­ter Antoine de Saint Exupery. The play pre­sents the story of a boy who deci­ded to leave his pla­net in order to get to know the uni­ver­se. His jour­ney is full of  dif­fe­rent sur­pri­ses and enco­un­ters with people to whom he passes on the most impor­tant messa­ge of all: «Maybe life isn’t that com­pli­ca­ted if…».

The rest of the messa­ge can be found in this dyna­mic per­for­man­ce that las­ts for 45 minu­tes. The Little Prince has been per­for­med for more than 250 times all across Croatia sin­ce its pre­mi­ere in 2001.

The leading roles are played by Ivan Horvat (the Little Prince), Ana Merlin (the Rose, the Pilot, the King, the Fox, the Train) and Petar Leventić (the Business man, the Conceited man, the Snake, the Train). The per­for­man­ce has been dra­ma­ti­zed and direc­ted by Ana and Luka Merlin, the foun­ders of the «Merlin» Theatre.
