U Umagu od 3. do 5. kolo­vo­za odr­žat će se 8. «Međunarodni fes­ti­val Antike – Sepomaia Viva».

From the 3rd to the 5th of August the town of Umag will host the 8th International Festival of Ancient Times– «Sepomaia Viva».

Dal 3 al 5 agos­to, ad Umago si ter­rà l’8° «Festival inter­na­zi­ona­le dell’antichità – Sepomaia Viva».

Tijekom fes­ti­va­la odr­žat će se niz aktiv­nos­ti veza­nih uz raz­dob­lje Antike. Bit će pred­stav­lje­ne radi­oni­ce, izlož­be, ples­ne i kaza­liš­ne pred­sta­ve, per­for­man­si, natje­ca­nja, pred­stav­lja­nje antič­kih zana­ta i slično.

Glavna izlož­ba ove godi­ne je «Djevojka sa zlat­nim naki­tom» na kojoj će se pred­sta­vi­ti naj­no­vi­ja arhe­olo­ška istra­ži­va­nja u sv. Ivanu Kornetskom koja su vrše­na u lip­nju 2009. godine.

«Sepomaia Viva» fes­ti­val tra­je od 2002. godi­ne i svi­ma zain­te­re­si­ra­ni­ma nudi upoz­na­va­nje s antič­kom kul­tu­rom. Postavljen je prvens­tve­no zbog antič­ke Sepomaje (arhe­olo­ških loka­li­te­ta sje­ver­no od Umaga s osta­ci­ma vila rus­ti­ka iz raz­dob­lja od 1. do 4. sto­lje­ća), s ciljem sen­zi­bi­li­zi­ra­nja šire jav­nos­ti u smis­lu oču­va­nja nas­lje­đa te pri­bli­ža­va­nja i popu­la­ri­zi­ra­nja kul­tur­ne baštine.

Projekt u sebi spa­ja povi­jest, edu­ka­ci­ju, muzej­sko-gale­rij­sku i scen­sku dje­lat­nost. (I. R.)

A seri­es of vari­ous acti­vi­ti­es lin­ked to the anci­ent times will be orga­ni­zed wit­hin the fra­mework of the fes­ti­val. «Sepomaia Viva» will com­pri­se wor­k­shops, exhi­bi­ti­ons, dan­ce and the­atre per­for­man­ces, com­pe­ti­ti­ons, pre­sen­ta­ti­ons of anci­ent craf­ts, etc.

The exhi­bi­ti­on «Girl with gold jewel­lery» is the cen­tral exhi­bi­ti­on orga­ni­zed wit­hin the fes­ti­val’s fra­mework. The exhi­bits pre­sent the latest arc­he­olo­gi­cal foun­din­gs from the arc­he­olo­gi­cal site of Sv. Ivan Kornetski from June 2009.

The «Sepomaia Viva» fes­ti­val was foun­ded in 2002 in order to pro­vi­de an insig­ht into the cul­tu­re of anci­ent times. It was ins­pi­red by the anci­ent Sepomaja (arc­he­olo­gi­cal site of the anci­ent Sepomaia, with ruins of a rus­tic vil­la dating back to the 1st and 4th cen­tury A.D.)The pro­ject uni­tes his­tory, edu­ca­ti­on, muse­ums, gal­le­ri­es and sta­ge art with the aim to inform and edu­ca­te the public abo­ut its cul­tu­ral heritage.

Nell’ambito del fes­ti­val, si svol­gerà una serie di atti­vità lega­te al mon­do anti­co. Si ter­ran­no labo­ra­to­ri, mos­tre, rap­pre­sen­ta­zi­oni teatra­li e dan­ze, per­for­man­ce, pre­sen­ta­zi­one di mes­ti­eri antic­hi ecc.

La mos­tra prin­ci­pa­le di quest’anno è «La fan­ci­ul­la con i gioiel­li d’oro» che pre­sen­terà i recen­ti sca­vi arc­he­olo­gi­ci ese­gu­iti a S. Giovanni del­la Cornetta nel giug­no 2009.

«Sepomaia Viva» fes­ti­val dura dal 2002 e offre la possi­bi­lità agli inte­re­ssa­ti di conos­ce­re la cul­tu­ra dell’antichità. Il fes­ti­val è nato, innan­zi­tut­to, a causa dell’antica Sepomaia (loca­lità arc­he­olo­gi­ca a nord di Umago con res­ti del­la vil­la rus­ti­ca, tra il I e il IV seco­lo) e per sen­si­bi­li­zza­re l’opinione pub­bli­ca sull’importanza del­la pre­ser­va­zi­one dell’eredità e del­la popo­la­ri­zza­zi­one del patri­mo­nio culturale.

Questo pro­get­to unis­ce la sto­ria, l’educazione, l’attività muse­ale-gal­le­ris­ti­ca e teatrale.
