leronNa vod­njan­skom Narodnom trgu 21. i 22. kolo­vo­za odr­žat će se deve­ti po redu Međunarodni fes­ti­val fol­k­lo­ra «Leron».

On the 21st and the 22nd of August the National Square in Vodnjan will host the 9th edi­ti­on of the International Folklore Festival “Leron”.

Ove godi­ne nas­tu­pa 12 fol­k­lor­nih sku­pi­na iz Italije, Rumunjske, Poljske, Turske, Bugarske i Hrvatske. Neki od njih su: FDE «Veselie» (Bug), AF «Ciuleandra» (Rum), AZ «Jedliniok» (Pl), KUD «Zvir» (Hr), FD «Hotead» (Tur) i druge.

Festival zapo­či­nje 21. u 19 sati mimo­ho­dom učes­ni­ka te sve­ča­nim otva­ra­njem uz nas­tup sudi­oni­ka. U subo­tu, 22. u 10 sati zaka­zan je pri­jem gru­pa kod gra­do­na­čel­ni­ka, nakon čega sli­je­di pred­stav­lja­nje fol­k­lor­nih sku­pi­na u 11 sati.

Navečer isto­ga dana, u 20 sati nas­tu­pit će pre­os­ta­li sudi­oni­ci. U 22 sata bit će dodi­je­lje­ne nagra­de publi­ke uz zatva­ra­nje festivala.

Festival je, ina­če, dobio ime po autoh­to­nom glaz­ba­lu lero­nu, slič­nom violon­če­lu, koje je obi­ljež­je ovo­ga kra­ja. (I. R.)

This year the fes­ti­val will host 12 fol­k­lo­re gro­ups from Italy, Romania, Poland, Turkey, Bulgaria and Croatia. Some of them are FDE «Veselie» (Bug), AF «Ciuleandra» (Rom), AZ «Jedliniok» (Pl), KUD «Zvir» (Hr), FD «Hotead» (Tur), etc.

The grand ope­ning of the fes­ti­val will take pla­ce on the 21st of August with the pro­me­na­de of the par­ti­ci­pants. On Saturday, the 22nd of August, at 10 a.m. all the gro­ups will be wel­co­med by the mayor at his offi­ce and pre­sen­ta­ti­on of the par­ti­ci­pants will fol­low at 11 a.m. The rest of the par­ti­ci­pants will per­form at 8 p.m.

The clo­sing of the fes­ti­val and the award giving cere­mony will take pla­ce at 10 p.m.

The fes­ti­val was named after leron, autoc­h­to­no­us musi­cal ins­tru­ment of the regi­on, simi­lar to cello.
