U sklopu «Ljetnog festivala Rovinj – festivala ozbiljne glazbe» na otoku Sv. Katarina u Rovinju 6. kolovoza u 21 sat nastupa duo iz Meksika, Fernando Lipkau Rodrigez na flauti i Antonio López Palacios na gitari.
On the 6th of August at 9 p.m. the Island of St. Catherine will host the performance by Fernando Lipkau Rodriguez (flute) and Antonio López Palacios (guitar), a Mexican duo. The concert will take place within the framework of the «Rovinj Summer Festival – Serious Music Festival».
Nell’ambito del «Festival estivo Rovigno – festival di musica seria», il 6 agosto, sull’isola di S. Caterina, alle ore 21, si esibirà il duo messicano Fernando Lipkau Rodrigez (flauto) e Antonio López Palacios (chitarra).

Idući dan, 7. kolovoza u 21 sat koncert će održati u Eufrazijevoj bazilici u Poreču s istim koncertnim programom.
Antonio L. Palacios glazbenik je i profesor na više sveučilišta i škola u Meksiku i SAD –u, snimio je četiri albuma i održava koncerte u cijelome svijetu. Nekoliko je puta bio član žirija na različitim glazbenim natjecanjima.
Fernando Lipkau studirao je na «Nacionalnom Konzervatoriju Auberville» u Parizu. Nastupao je kao solist i u sastavu raznih simfonijskih orkestara u rodnom Meksiku i u SAD –u.
Predaje na «La Escuela Nacional de Musica de la UNAM»; zamjenik je ravnatelja i akademik na «Conservatorio de Música del Estado de México» i koordinator «Nacional de Bandas Sinfónicas del Sistema Nacional de Fomento Musical de CONACULTA».
Trenutno nastupa kao flautist i djeluje kao ravnatelj puhačkih orkestara. (I. R.)
The audience will have the opportunity to hear compositions by M.C. Tedesco, G. T. Dominguez and M. M. Ponce.
On the 7th of August the duo will perform the same programme at 9 p.m. at the Euphrasianus Basilica in Poreč.
Antonio L. Palacios is a musician and a professor at several universities and schools in Mexico and the USA. He has released four albums and staged concerts all around the world. Palacios has also been a member of juries at various music competitions.
Fernando Lipkau studied at the «National Conservatory Auberville» in Paris. He has performed as a soloist and as a member of different simphonic orchestras in Mexico and the USA. Lipkau teaches at the «La Escuela Nacional de Musica de la UNAM»; he is also vice-president and academician at the «Conservatorio de Música del Estado de México» and coordinator of the «Nacional de Bandas Sinfónicas del Sistema Nacional de Fomento Musical de CONACULTA». He is currently performing as a flutist and acts as a leader of wind bands.

Il giorno seguente, il 7 agosto, alle ore 21, si esibiranno nella Basilica Eufrasiana di Parenzo con lo stesso programma.
Antonio L. Palacios è musicista e professore presso più università messicane e statunitensi. Ha registrato quattro album e si esibisce in tutto il mondo. Più volte è stato membro della giuria a vari concorsi musicali.
Fernando Lipkau ha studiato al « Conservatorio Nazionale Auberville» di Parigi. Si è esibito come solista e come membro di varie orchestre sinfoniche, in Messico e negli Stati Uniti.
Insegna a «La Escuela Nacional de Musica de la UNAM»; è sostituto preside e accademico al «Conservatorio de Música del Estado de México» e coordinatore del «Nacional de Bandas Sinfónicas del Sistema Nacional de Fomento Musical de CONACULTA».
Momentaneamente si esibisce come flautista e lavora come direttore di orchestre a fiato.
