U bivšoj vojarni «Karlo Rojc» u Puli od 8. do 15. kolovoza održavaju se graffiti radionice u sklopu «Media Mediterranea festivala».
From the 8th to the 15th of August the former Karlo Rojc Barracks will host a graffiti workshop, which will take place within the framework of the «Media Mediterranea Festival».
Dal 8 al 15 agosto, nell’ex caserma Karlo Rojc di Pola, nell’ambito del «Media Mediterranea Festival», si svolgerà il laboratorio di graffiti.
Ovogodišnji gosti su Alexander Ali Pett i Daniel Koplowitz, «writeri» iz Njemačke. Oni će uz standardnog voditelja graffiti radionica Aleksandra Mrkonju aka. Fettija, pokazati mladim naraštajima novonastale pulske graffiti scene, kako izrađivati koncept zidove i primjenjivati različite tehnike crtanja na zidu. Pri tome će se oslikavati cijelo donje pročelje zgrade «Karlo Rojc».
Radionice će se održavati svaki dan u poslijepodnevnim i večernjim satima.
Voditelji Ali i Kopplo, crtači su graffita koji se ovom umjetnošću bave od svojih mladih dana. Još uvijek su vrlo aktivni članovi njemačke ilegalne i legalne «writerske» scene. Područje njihova djelovanja je Nordrhein Westfalia i Ruhrpotta.
Njihovi se radovi nalaze u Duesseldorfu, Koellnu, Essenu, Dortmundu, Oberhausenu, i drugima. Osim crtanjem graffita, oni se bave i rapom. Daniel je vrhunski raper poznat pod imenom Koplo MC, dok je Ali veliki zaljubljenik u hip-hop te kolekcionar vinil ploča.
Glavni voditelj radionica je Aleksandar Mrkonja – Fetti, poznati pulski tatoo umjetnik. (I.R.)

Beside Aleksandar Mrkonja a.k.a. Fetti, the standard leader of the graffiti workshops, younger members of the Pula graffiti scene will have the opportunity to learn from Alexander Ali Pett and Daniel Koplowitz, writers from Germany. They will present the art of graffiti writing and different drawing techniques. On this occasion the whole front of the Karlo Rojc building will be illustrated. The workshop will take place every afternoon and evening.
Ali and Kopplo are graffiti masters who have been engaged in this branch of art since the early age. They are still very active members of the German legal and illegal writing scene in the Nordrhein Westfalia and Ruhrpott. Their works can be seen in Duesseldorf, Koeln, Essen, Dortmund, Oberhausen, etc. Beside the graffiti writing they are also active on the rap scene. Daniel is a world-class rapper, known as Koplo MC and Ali is a great hip-hop enthusiast and collector of vinyl records.
The head leader of the workshop is Aleksandar Mrkonja – Fetti, famous tattoo artist from Pula.

Quest’anno, gli ospiti sono Alexander Ali Pett e Daniel Koplowitz, «writers» che arrivano dalla Germania. Accompagnati dalla guida abituale del laboratorio, Aleksandar Mrkonja – Fetti, mostreranno alle nuove generazioni di graffitari polesi come creare un muro concetto e come applicare varie tecniche di disegno sul muro. In questa occasione verrà dipinta la parte inferiore della facciata dell’edificio del «Karlo Rojc».
I laboratori si terranno ogni giorno, nelle ore pomeridiane e serali.
I capi laboratorio, Ali e Koppolo, sono disegnatori che si occupano di questa attività da quando erano molto giovani. Sono tutt’oggi membri attivi della scena «writers» tedesca, sia quella legale che illegale. Operano nella zona di Nordrhein Westfalia e Ruhrpott.
È possibile trovare i loro lavori a Düsseldorf, Köln, Essen, Dortmund, Oberhausen, ecc. Accanto ai graffiti, si occupano anche di musica rap. Daniel è conosciuto con il nome di Koplo MC, mentre Ali è un appassionato di musica hip-hop e collezionista di dischi in vinile.
Il capoguida del laboratorio è Aleksandar Mrkonja – Fetti, artista tattoo di Pola.
