Jučer je u «Narodnom domu» u Buzetu u sklopu «Subotine» održan znanstveni skup «Buzetski dani 2009.» koji ove godine slavi 40. –tu obljetnicu.
Na skupu sudjelovali su renomirani istarski znanstvenici i profesori.
Yesterday the Popular Centre in Buzet hosted the 40th Scientific Conference «Buzet Days 2009». The symposium, which gathered distinguished Istrian scientists and professors, was organized within the framework of the «Subotina» Festivity.
Svoj rad «Buzetski dani i arheologija Buzeštine» predstavili su: prof. dr. sc. Klara Buršić-Matijašić i prof. dr. sc. Robert Matijašić (predavači Sveučilišta «Jurja Dobrile» – Pula).
Mr. sc. Josip Višnjić iz «Hrvatskog restauratorskog zavoda» govorio je o arhitektonskom razvoju tisućljetnog kaštela Petrapilose.
Prof. dr. sc. Slaven Bertoša sa Sveučilišta «Jurja Dobrile» u Puli, proučio je oporuku Antuna Sinčića iz 1799. godine.
Mr. Jakov Jelinčić predstavio je knjigu buzetskog privremenog prvostupanjskog provincijskog suda u Buzetu (1797. – 1805.), jedinu sačuvanu sudsku knjigu iz Istre, iz vremena prve austrijske uprave koja se proteže od pada Venecije do francuske uprave.
Mr. sc. Zdenko Balog iz Pučkog otvorenog učilišta Križevci, predstavio je temu «Gotičke lisnate maske u istarskim crkvama – prilog recepciji srednjoeuropske gotike u Istri».
O konzervatorsko-restauratorskim zahvatima na slikama iz crkve sv. Jurja u Buzetu, govorio je akademski slikar Slobodan Radić, a o slikama iz administrativnog područja Grada Buzeta povjesničarka umjetnosti Katarina Zenzerović.
Mr. sc Josip Žmak iz Umaga pripremio je temu o čredi u selu Podgaće, zajedničkoj ispaši goveda na travnjacima malih parcela koje se nisu mogle pojedinačno koristiti.
Znanstveni skup kontinuirano se održava u Buzetu od 1970. godine kada je osnovan kao jedna od katedri Čakavskog sabora. Skup se vezuje uz Subotinu, Dan Grada Buzeta.
Okuplja ugledne znanstvenike, istraživače, povjesničare, etnologe, sociologe, intelektualce različitih struka koji svojim znanstvenim radom tematiziraju područje Buzeštine. (I. R.)

Professors Klara Buršić-Matijašić and Robert Matijašić of the University «Juraj Dobrila» in Pula presented their work titled «Buzet Days and Archeology of the Buzet Region».
Josip Višnjić from the «Croatian Restauration Institute» delivered a speech on the architectural development of the ancient Petrapilosa Castle.
Professor Slaven Bertoša of the University «Juraj Dobrila» researched the will of Antun Sinčić from the year 1799.
Jakov Jelinčić presented a book of the Buzet temporary Provincial Court (1797 – 1805), which is the only preserved court book from Istria from the times of the first Austrian government (from the fall of Venice to the era of French government).
Zdenko Balog of the Open University Križevci presented the topic «Gothic Foliate Masques in Istrian Churches».
Academic painter Slobodan Radić talked about the restoration of the paintings at the St.George’s Church in Buzet, while Katarina Zenzerović, art historian, delivered a speech on the topic of paintings of the Buzet region.
Josip Žmak from Umag presented the concept of «čreda», the joint use of small parcels of land as grazing land for cattle.
The scientific conference was organized for the first time in 1970, when it was founded as one of the Departments of the Čakavian Parliament. The symposium a part of the «Subotina Festivity» – the Day of the Town of Buzet.
The conference gathers distinguished scientists, researchers, historians, sociologists and other intellectuals whose scientific works deal with the topic of the region of Buzet.
