U Puli od 4. do 13. prosinca održat će se petnaesti, jubilarni «Sa(n)jam knjige u Istri». Ovogodišnji Sajam bavit će se svojom poviješću, razrađivat će najbolje festivalske ideje te oživljavati dosadašnje najuspješnije programe.
From the 4th to the 13th of December Pula will host the 15th «Sa(n)jam knjige u Istri» book fair. This year’s edition of the fair will deal with its own history, elaborate on the best festival ideas and revive the most successful programmes up to now.
Dal 4 al 13 dicembre, a Pola, si terrà la 15ª fiera del libro «Sa(n)jam knjige u Istri». La fiera di quest’anno tratterà la sua storia, svilupperà le migliori idee del festival e riproporrà i programmi che finora hanno avuto maggior successo.
Ponovo će tematizirati «Moć žene» i književno stvaranje, Putopise, Krimiće, Poeziju te programe koji su proslavili Sajam, poput «Dana Češke u Puli», «Autora iz susjedstva» i «P.E.N. –a» u Puli.
Uz to, bit će obilježena svjetska godina astronomije te sto i četrdeset godina postojanja pulske zvjezdarnice, pri čemu će se posebna pažnja posvetiti teoretičarima svemira i njihovim knjigama. Osim toga, Sajam će biti posvećen i knjižničarima.
Najveća je novost ovogodišnjeg Sajma osnivanje «Odbora nakladnika pulskog sajma» čime će nakladnici od sada više utjecati na program manifestacije te na dodjelu nagrade «Kiklop».
Također, ova potonja nagrada ove će se godine po prvi puta dijeliti javno, pred čitateljima, 11. prosinca u 12 sati.
«Kiklop» će se dodijeljivati u 14 kategorija za razliku od dosadašnjih 13. Pri tome, ukinute su kategorije «Hit godine», «Znanstveno popularna knjiga godine» i «Oblikovanje knjige godine», a uvedene su nove: «Nagrada za životno djelo», «Leksikografsko djelo godine», «Znanstvena knjiga godine», «Slikovnica godine» i «Knjiga godine za djecu i mladež».
Ostale su aktualne kategorije: «Urednik ili Urednica godine», «Biblioteka ili nakladnički niz godine», «Prozno djelo godine», «Debitantska knjiga godine», «Pjesnička zbirka godine», «Knjiga eseja godine», «Publicistička knjiga godine», «Knjiga inozemnog autora ili autorice godine» te «Prijevod godine».
Prijave za nagradu «Kiklop» traju od 1. do 15. listopada. (I. R.)

The fair will once again revisit topics such as the «Women Power», literary creation (travel books, detective stories, poetry) and the programmes which became trademarks of the fair: «Days of the Czech Republic in Pula», «Authors from the neighbourhood» and «P.E.N. in Pula».
The fair will also celebrate the world year of astronomy and the 140th birthday of the Pula observatory. On this occasion a special attention will be paid to theoreticians and researchers of the universe and their books. Beside that, this year’s edition of the fair will also be dedicated to librarians.
The most important news of the fair is the founding of the «Pula Fair Publishers Commitee», which will provide the publishers with more possibilities to influence the programme of events and the selection of the winners of the «Kiklop» Award. Furthermore, for the first time in the history of the fair, the «Kiklop» Award will be awarded publicly, before the readers, on the 11th of December at noon.
Instead of the usual 13, this year there are 14 categories for the “Kiklop“Award. The categories «The hit of the year», «Popular-Science Book of the Year» and the «Design of the Year» are replaced by several new ones: «Life-Achievement Award», «Lexicographic Work of the Year», «Scientific Book of the Year», «Picture-Book of the Year» and «Children’s Book of the Year».
The rest of the categories are: «Editor of the Year», «Published Series of the Year», «Prose Work of the Year», «Debutant Book of the Year», «Poetry Collection of the Year», «Book of Essays of the Year, «Nonfiction Book of the Year», «Book of Foreign author of the Year» and the «Translation of the Year».
The applications for the «Kiklop» Award will be accepted in the period from the 1st to the 15th of October.

Saranno ripresi i temi «Il potere della donna» e la creazione letteraria, Diari di viaggio, Gialli, Poesia e saranno reintrodotti i programmi che hanno reso famosa la Fiera, tra cui «Dani Češke u Puli» («Giornate ceche di Pola»), «Autori iz susjedstva» («Autori del vicinato») e «P.E.N.».
Inoltre, saranno celebrati l’anno mondiale dell’astronomia e il 140° anniversario dell’osservatorio di Pola. Dunque, una particolare attenzione sarà rivolta verso i teoretici dello spazio e i loro libri. La fiera sarà dedicata anche ai bibliotecari.
La maggiore novità della fiera è la fondazione della «Commissione degli editori della fiera di Pola», il che garantirà agli editori una maggiore partecipazione alla creazione del programma della manifestazione e alla assegnazione del premio «Kiklop».
Questo sarà il primo anno che questo premio sarà assegnato pubblicamente, davanti ai lettori, i giorno 11 dicembre, alle ore 12.
Il premio «Kiklop» sarà assegnato in 14 categorie, una in più delle solite 13. Sono però state sospese le categorie «Hit dell’anno», «Libro scientifico-popolare dell’anno» e «Modellazione del libro dell’anno» e sono state inserite «Premio per l’insieme dell’opera», «Opera lessicografica dell’anno», «Libro scientifico dell’anno», «Albo illustrato dell’anno» e «Libro per l’infanzia e per i giovani dell’anno».
Le altre categorie attuali sono: «Redattore o Redattrice dell’anno», «Biblioteca o collana dell’anno», «Opera prosaica dell’anno», «Libro debuttante dell’anno», «Raccolta di poesie dell’anno», «Saggio dell’anno», «Libro pubblicistico dell’anno», «Libro di autore o autrice straniera dell’anno» e «Traduzione dell’anno».
Le proposte per il premio «Kiklop» saranno accettate dal 1 al 15 ottobre.
