15. međunarodni arheološki simpozij u Puli i Medulinu|15th International Archeological Symposium in Pula and Medulin|
Međunarodno arheološko savjetovanje na temu “Umjetnički obrt od prapovijesti do ranog srednjeg vijeka” održat će se od 25. do 28. studenoga u Puli i Medulinu. Ovo savjetovanje u organizaciji Međunarodnog istraživačkog centra za arheologiju Brijuni-Medulin ove godine obilježava svoj 15. rođendan, a kao i ranija, održava se pod visokim pokroviteljstvom UNESCO‑a.
The international archeological conference focused on the „Artistic craftsmanship from prehistoric times until the early medieval period“ will take place in Pula and Medulin from the 25th to the 28th of November. This symposium, organized by the International Research Centre for Archeology Brijuni – Medulin, celebrates its 15th anniversary this year. As the earlier editions, this year’s symposium is taking place under the high patronage of the UNESCO.
Savjetovanje će biti otvoreno u četvrtak u 9 sati u svečanoj dvorani Tone Peruška pulskog sveučilišta, a u poslijepodnevnim će se satima održavati u medulinskoj općini. U petak će se opet seminar održavati na pulskom sveučilištu, a u subotu u 11.30 u rovinjskoj Gradskoj palači bit će svečano predstavljena dva jubilarna sveska časopisa “Histria Antiqua”.
U vijećnici Općine Medulin danas su ovogodišnji program te djelovanje MIC‑a Brijuni-Medulin predstavili njegova voditeljica dr. Vesna Girardi Jurkić, načelnik općine Medulin Goran Buić te Andrej Bader, zadužen za kulturu u Općini Medulin.
Dosad je održano 14 međunarodnih arheoloških savjetovanja, od kojih su posljednji imali teme: “Vinogradarstvo i maslinarstvo od prapovijesti do srednjeg vijeka” (2006.); “Otium – razbibriga od prapovijesti do srednjeg vijeka” (2007.); i “Putovi i trgovina od prapovijesti do ranog srednjeg vijeka” (2008.). The conference will be opened on Thursday at 9 a.m. at the Tone Peruško Hall at the Pula university. The program will be continued in the afternoon in Medulin. The Pula University will host another seminar on Friday. The presentation of the two anniversary issues of the „Histria Antiqua“ journal will take place on Saturday at 11.30 a.m. at the Rovinj Town Palace.
Today at the Medulin Municipality Hall Sc. D. Vesna Girardi Jurkić (head of the project), Goran Buić (head of the Municipality of Medulin) and Andrej Bader (coordinator for cultural activities of the Mucinipality of Medulin) presented this year’s program and the activity of the MIC Brijuni – Medulin.
Up to now there were organized 14 editions of the international archeological conference. The previous editions of the symposium tackled the topics such as: „Viticulture and Olive-growing from prehistoric times until medieval period“(2006), „Opium – distraction from prehistoric times until medieval period (2007) and „Routes and Trade from prehistoric times until the early medieval period“ (2008).
