Two Works, One Idea – Exhibition by Vladimir Frelih in Rovinj

On the 14th of August at 9 p.m. the Little Gallery of the Regional Museum in Rovinj will host the opening of the solo exhibition titled «Two Works, One Idea» by Vladimir Frelih.
The author will present his video works and polaroids, a selection from two different exhibitions. The video titled «SMAK» (Gent, 2007) was presented within the framework of a grand joint exhibition, while the polaroids present a part of Frelih’s solo exhibition.
Vladimir Frelih was born in Osijek in 1963. He attained a master’s degree at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf (sculpting/installations). Since 2008 he has worked as a docent at te Art Academy in Osijek and currently acts as the Head of the Department of Visual Arts. He actively and frequently exhibits within frameworks of national and international exhibitions and projects. Vladimir Frelih has won around ten awards and scholarships and his works have been exhibited as parts of several collections of contemporary art. He currently lives and works in Osijek and Düsseldorf.
The exhibition is on view until the 20th of September.
