At the end of June the MC Gallery in Manhattan will host for the first time the Inter Imago New York, an art exhibition of recent art works from selected 14 artists from Croatia. One of the selected artists is Hari Ivančić, the academic painter from Buzet. He was born in 1967 in Pazin. In 1994 Ivančić graduated from the Academy of Visual Arts in Zagreb. He is a member of the HDLU Rijeka, Zagreb and Istria and the Croatian Society of Independent Artists. Ivančić lives and works in Buzet. He has staged seventeen solo exhibitions in Croatia and one in Switzerland and sixteen joint exhibitions in Croatia, Slovenia and Hungary.

The  goal of the exhibition is to show how much the creativity of an artist can overcome the influence of the modern way of life and continue to offer something new and original to the traditional two-dimensional painting.
