On June 8 at 9.30 p.m. the Charlama Gallery in Sarajevo will host the opening of the exhibition by Istrian artists Robert Sošić and Tomislav Brajnović. The exhibition is organized within the framework of the international project SUBDOKUMENTA, which was launched in September 2009.
Tomislav Brajnović was born in 1965 in Zagreb. In 1985 he graduated from the School of Graphic Design in Pula. He studied at the Royal Academy in Hague and graduated from the Zagreb Academy of Visual Arts. In 2003 Brajnović also finished his postgraduate studies at the Central Saint Martins College of Art in London. Last year he presented his project „Ego Trip“, which was included in the unique art project „The Arctic Circle“.
Robert Sošić was born in Pula in 1970. He graduated from the Venetian Art Academy and presented his works within frameworks of many joint exhibitions and around fifteen solo exhibitions in Croatia, Italy, Slovenia, Germany and the USA. He is a member of the HDLU Istria and the HZSU. He caught the public eye with three projects: painting the gate of the former military barracks in Pazin white, putting up the white flag at a fort in Italy and the performance „Silence is gold“ in Pula. He is also known for his exhibition titled „The red flag“.
The exhibition will stay on view until June 30.
