The opening of the solo exhibition by Tanja Perišić titled „Memories from the edge of a polis“ will be held on June 18, at 8 p.m. at the Anex Gallery of the MMC Luka in Pula. Tanja Perišić is an academic sculptor and is currently attending a postgraduate program at the Piet Zwar Institute in Rotterdam. She has staged several joint and solo exhibitions in Croatia, Austria, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Turkey, USA and Uruguay. Perišić is the winner of the 2006 award of the Academy of Visual Arts in Zagreb and the Public Choice Award of the TH-Tnagrada@MSU.hr and was the finalist for the 2008 Radoslav Putar Award. The main motive of her works is the interplay of technology, body and space. The exhibition will stay on view until July 3, 2010.
