Place: Labin

The opening of the 8th edition of the Labin Art Republic Festival will take place on July 1 in front of the National Museum in Labin. The opening will be marked by performances of the Mornice Children’s Choir, Labin Town Orchestra and Tihomir Bendelja. At 9 p.m. audience will have the opportunity to hear The Orange Strips, the band from Labin, and their Hungarian guests The Kolin.

Labin Art Republic is a project which was launched with the aim to revive the historical and cultural heritage of the town of Labin. The project was ideated in 2003. The festival takes place outdoors and indoors, includes musical, theatrical and other artistic programs of Croatian and international authors. On these occasions the town of Labin opens the doors of its studios, galleries and museums.
