The 10th edition of the Mediterranean festival of folklore „Zlatna sopela“ starts on June 28 at 9 p.m. The festival will take place at the central Poreč square from June 28 until July 3 and will gather around 200 dancers from Russia, Latvia, Hungary, Austria, Italy, Mexico and Croatia. Croatia will be represented by three dance companies: Folklorno društvo „Pazin“ from Pazin, „Punat“ from Krk and HKUD „Osijek 1862“ from Osijek. On this occasion the streets of Poreč will host different accompanying programs. The city hall will welcome choreographers and leaders of companies in order to organize a discussion about folklore.
