The 9th International Antiquity Festival Sepomaia Viva will be held from August 2 to August 3, 2010, at Liberty Square in Umag. The festival is traditionally held every year in order to provide an insight into the period of antiquity. On this occasion the festival will present ancient clothes, food, dance, music, fights and crafts. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about legionaries, gladiators, dancers, artists who created mosaics and ceramics. Within the framework of the festival there will be opened the exhibition „Revealing hidden secrets“, which will present a selection of the collection of the Museum of the Town of Umag. Replicas and souvenirs will be sold at Mercaturi – the museum fair. Sepomaia Viva will also include Forum vinarium, the presentation of antique wines of the Buje region.
