On August 20 starts the 10th Leron International Folklore Festival in Vodnjan. The promenade of the participants will take place from Trgovačka Street to Popular Square, which will be followed by the grand opening and performances of the first group of participants. At 10 a.m. Sergio Delton, the vice mayor of Vodnjan, will welcome the participants. The topic of the round table, which will take place at the Italian Community in Vodnjan at 11 a.m., is „Folklore and Tradition“. For the first time the participants of the festival will attend the Holy Mass at the Parochial Church of St. Blaise. Performances of the remaining groups will take place at 8.30 p.m. The award giving ceremony, which will mark the end of the festival, will take place at 10.30 p.m.
