On August 21, at 8 p.m., the old Fort Casoni Vecchi at Vidikovac (ex Monteparadiso) will host the 2nd Nova Garda Festival. The aim of the festival is to provide the young demo bands with the opportunity to develop their talent and to present their skills to the audience. This year’s edition will feature six bands, two of which are not from Pula. One of them is the rock’n'roll band The Link 20 from Rovinj. They will present their renditions of songs by The Doors and their own compositions. The other band is Blues Train, the blues group from Pazin. They will present songs by Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix and other masters of blues. Beside the aforementioned, visitors will have the opportunity to hear four bands from Pula: De Deus and Radio Aktiv, which performed last year, and Marioneta and Metanoia. Tickets: 10 kuna. Free entry until 8 p.m.
