Nataša Milić – Concert in Poreč

On Monday, the 28th of September, the Theatre Hall of the Open Public University of Poreč will host the concert of the pianist Nataša Milić. On this occasion the audience will have the opportunity to hear compositions by F. Chopin, R. Schumann and A. Scriabin. The concert is scheduled for 7.30 p.m and the entry is free.

Nataša Milić was born in Zagreb and when she was five her grandmother provided her with her first piano lessons. Milić attended both elementary and the high music school (under the guidance of professor Marija Gvozdić-Horvat). She graduated from the Music Academy in Zagreb, where she finished the postgraduate studies. She has also attended seminars led by R. Kehrer, A. Nasjedkin, D. Kraus and professor Pavica Gvozdić.

She has staged a series of solo and chamber recitals in famous Croatian music centres and has participated in festivals all over the country (Osor Music Nights, Croatian Summer Events, Bol Summer, Korčula Summer, Krk Summer, Labin Art Republic). Milić also won the award for the best interpretation of the work by a Croatian composer at the «Darko Lukić» Conference (Zagreb, 1988). She has also performed in Bosnia and Herzegowina, Slovenia, Austria, Italy and Switzerland. As a soloist Milić has played with the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra, HRT Simphonic Orchestra, Zagreb Soloists, Dubrovnik Simphonic Orchestra and the Mostar Simphonic Orchestra. Since 1993 she has the status of the independent artist.

KULTURISTRA – Webpage of the Department of Culture of the Region of Istria is a website project that was startedby the Region of Istria and Metamedij Association with the goal to develop the cultural information services in the Region of Istria.
The project wants to offer information about recent events, as well as give access to different data bases, which will contain information about all the people involved in the Istrian cultural scene, cultural events, international contests, and potential international partners.
