Prigodom sve­ča­nog otva­ra­nja 10. jubi­lar­nog “Histria fes­ti­va­la” u pul­skoj Areni, 05. srp­nja 2009. godi­ne, jedan od naj­ve­ćih teno­ra današ­nji­ce Jose Cura iz Argentine,  odr­žat će kon­cert u prat­nji Simfonijskog orkes­tra Hrvatske radiotelevizije. 

Ovaj uče­ni skla­da­telj i diri­gent a bri­ljan­tan izvo­đač i pri­rod­ni zabav­ljač, poz­nat je diljem svi­je­ta po inten­ziv­nim i ori­gi­nal­nim inter­pre­ta­ci­ja­ma oper­nih liko­va (Otelo – Verdi), kao i po neko­nven­ci­onal­nim i ino­va­tiv­nim izved­ba­ma koncerata.

On the 5th of July 2009 one of the big­gest living tenors the Argentinian Jose Cura will per­form in Arena (Pula), with the  accom­pa­ni­ment of the Croatian Radiotelevision Simphonic Orchestra, to mark the ope­ning of the 10th jubi­le­an Histria Festival. 

The fame of this lear­ned com­po­ser and con­duc­tor, also bril­li­ant per­for­mer and natu­ral-born enter­ta­iner, can be ascri­bed to his inten­se and ori­gi­nal inter­pre­ta­ti­ons of ope­ra cha­rac­ters (Othello-Verdi) and his unco­nven­ti­onal and inno­va­ti­ve performances.
