U Zagrebu je danas u središnjici Valamara predstavljen projekt Valamar Jazz Festival koji će se od ove godine održavati u Poreču.
Ideju razvoja projekta te imena vodećih glazbenika koji će nastupiti u sklopu prvog jazz festivala u Istri predstavili su umjetnička direktorica festivala Tamara Obrovac i predstavnici grupacije Valamar i porečke Rivijere.
Festival će trajati tri dana, od 09. di 11. srpnja 2010., a odvijat će se na različitim gradskim lokacijama, na otoku Sveti Nikola i u vili Polesini.
Osim glavnog festivalskog programa planiran je i prateći, koji će se sastojati od mini-koncerata na ulicama Zagreba, Rijeke i Pule, a tu su još i svakodnevi manji koncerti te after-party koji će se odvijati u Poreču za vrijeme trajanja festivala.
Ljubitelji jazz glazbe moći će pogledati nastupe i nekih poznatijih imena, kao što su Claudia Acuńa, Dave Holland & Pepe Habichuela Flamenco Project, Edward Simon Trio, Dianne Reeves, Maurice Brown Quintet i Abraham Inc.
Cilj Valmar Jazz Festivala jest obogatiti internacionalnom glazbom kulturnu i turističku pthis yearonudu grada Poreča, kao i Istre u cjelini.

The project Valamar Jazz Festival, which will take place in Poreč, was introduced today at the Zagreb headquarters of Valamar.
The gist of the project and the names of the leading musicians who will perform within the framework of the first jazz festival in Istria were presented by the art director of the Festival Tamara Obrovac, and the representatives of the Valamar group and Poreč Riviera.
The Festival will take place from July 9 to July 11, 2010, at different locations in Poreč, the Island of Sveti Nikola and the Villa Polesini.
Beside the main program, the festival will include mini-concerts in the streets of Zagreb, Rijeka and Pula, smaller concerts and after-parties in Poreč during the Festival.
Lovers of jazz will have the opportunity to see performances of several famous musicians, such as Claudia Acuńa, Dave Holland & Pepe Habichuela Flamenco Project, Edward Simon Trio, Dianne Reeves, Maurice Brown Quintet and Abraham Inc.
The aim of the Valamar Jazz Festival is to enrich the cultural and tourist offer of Poreč and Istria.
Oggi a Zagabria, nella sede di Valmar, è stato presentato il progetto “Valmar Jazz Festival” che quest’anno si terrà a Parenzo.
Lo scopo del progetto e i nomi dei principali musicisti che si esibiranno al primo Jazz Festival in Istria, sono stati presentati dalla direttrice artistica Tamara Obrovac e dai rappresentanti del gruppo Valmar e dalla Rivijera di Parenzo.
Il Festival durerà 3 giorni, dal 09 al 11 luglio, in diverse località della città, come l’isola di Santo Nicola e la Villa Polesini.
Oltre al programma principale del Festival, è previsto un altro di supporto che consiste in miniconcerti nelle vie di Zagabria, Fiume e Pola. Ci saranno pure alti concerti giornalieri minori e afterparty che si terranno a Parenzo per tutta la durata del Festival.
Gli amanti del Jazz potranno ammirare le presentazioni di alcuni nomi famosi del genere, tra i quali spiccano Claudia Acuńa, Dave Holland & Pepe Habichuel Flamenco Project, Edward Simon Trio, Dianne Reeves, Maurice Brown Quintet i Abraham Inc.
Lo scopo del Valmar Jazz Festival è quello di arricchire l’offerta culturale e turistica di Parenzo e l’Istria.
