Odigrane su pred­sta­ve «Waxtaan» kom­pa­ni­je «Jant-Bi» iz Senegala i «Koncert za dan­gu­bu i zgu­bi­da­na» zagre­bač­ke ples­ne sku­pi­ne «Liberdance».

 

Kroz pre­obraz­bu tra­di­ci­onal­nih ples­nih obli­ka sene­gal­ski ple­sa­či i glaz­be­ni­ci u «Waxtaanu» paro­di­ra­ju afrič­ke poli­tič­ke vođe, svo­je pred­sjed­ni­ke, minis­tre i poli­ti­ča­re u nadi da bi se gos­po­dar­ske, druš­tve­ne i kul­tur­ne pri­li­ke u Africi mogle poboljšati.

 

«Waxtaan» je zah­tjev za odlič­noš­ću, dare­ž­lji­voš­ću i slož­noš­ću. On je pot­vr­da naše sna­ge i naše moguć­nos­ti da ide­mo dalje i oči­to­va­nje našeg uvje­re­nja da Afrika i Afrikanci mogu pro­mi­je­ni­ti tre­nu­tač­nu nega­tiv­nu sli­ku o sebi!
Ali on je ujed­no počast pre­ci­ma, lje­po­ti i bogat­stvu ple­so­va koje su nam osta­vi­li u nas­lje­đe i koje pred­stav­lja­mo u novim, suvre­me­nim obli­ci­ma.» – piše u katalogu.


U sklo­pu fes­ti­val­skog pro­gra­ma, pred­stav­lje­na je i izlož­ba foto­gra­fi­ja «10. godi­na fes­ti­va­la» Andija Bančića i Emila Živolića.


Uvodne rije­či dobro­doš­li­ce okup­lje­ni­ma su upu­ti­li Snježana Abramović Milković (umjet­nič­ka direk­to­ri­ca fes­ti­va­la), Vladimir Torbica (pro­čel­nik Odjela za kul­tu­ru Istarske župa­ni­je) i Dalibor Macan (načel­nik Općine Svetvinčenat). (I.R.)

Last nig­ht the San Vincenti Square hos­ted the grand ope­ning of the 10th Dance and Non-Verbal Theatre Festival.

On this occa­si­on the Jant-Bi com­pany form Senegal per­for­med the play titled Waxtaan and the Liberdance com­pany from Zagreb pre­sen­ted the­ir per­for­man­ce Koncert za dan­gu­bu i zgubidana.

The Senegalese dan­cers and musi­ci­ans use the tran­sfor­ma­ti­on of tra­di­ti­onal dan­ce for­ms to pre­sent a parody of African poli­ti­cal leaders, pre­si­dents, minis­ters and poli­ti­ci­ans in the hope that the eco­no­mic, soci­al and cul­tu­ral cir­cum­s­tan­ces could improve.

 

«Waxtaan is a demand for excel­len­ce, gene­ro­sity and con­cord. It is a con­fir­ma­ti­on of our stren­g­th and abi­lity to move on and a dis­play of our beli­ef that Africa and Africans can chan­ge the nega­ti­ve impre­ssi­on they cur­ren­tly convey! But at the same time we pay honors to our ances­tors, beauty and abun­dan­ce of dan­ces we have inhe­ri­ted from them and which we pre­sent in new, con­tem­po­rary for­ms.» – says the cata­lo­gue description.

 

The pho­to­grap­hic exhi­bi­ti­on titled «10th year of the fes­ti­val» by Andi Bančić and Emil Živolić was also pre­sen­ted wit­hin the con­text of the festival.

 

The address of wel­co­me was given by Snježana Abramović Milković (artis­tic direc­tor of the fes­ti­val), Vladimir Torbica (head of the Department of Culture of the Istrian County) and Dalibor Macan (head of the San Vincenti District).

Il 24 luglio, a Sanvincenti, si è tenu­ta la ceri­mo­nia d’apertura del 10° « Festival del­la dan­za e del teatro non verbale».

Si sono tenu­te le rap­pre­sen­ta­zi­oni Waxtaan» del­la com­pag­nia «Jant-Bi» del Senegal e «Concerto per il per­di­tem­po e il per­di­gi­or­no» del grup­po di dan­za zaga­bre­se «Liberdance».

Attraverso la tra­sfor­ma­zi­one di for­me di dan­za tra­di­zi­ona­li, i bal­le­ri­ni sene­ga­le­si han­no paro­di­ato le guide poli­tic­he afri­ca­ne, i pre­si­den­ti, i minis­tri e i poli­ti­ci, nel­la spe­ran­za di migli­ora­re le con­di­zi­oni soci­ali e cul­tu­ra­li in Africa.

 

Nell’ambito del pro­gram­ma del fes­ti­val, è sta­ta pre­sen­ta­ta la mos­tra «10 anni di fes­ti­val» degli auto­ri Andi Bančić e Emil Živolić.

Il benve­nu­to è sta­to dato ai pre­sen­ti da Snježana Abramović Milković (diret­tri­ce artis­ti­ca del fes­ti­val), Vladimir Torbica (capo Dipartimento per la cul­tu­ra del­la Regione Istriana) e Dalibor Macan (Sindaco del­la Municipalità di Sanvincenti).
