Već tra­di­ci­onal­no 14. godi­na za redom Gradska loža u Starom gra­du  doma­ćin je Labinskog uzle­ta likov­nos­ti. Riječ je o izlož­bi labin­skih likov­nih umjet­ni­ka, koja će ove godi­ne pred­sta­vi­ti 26 likov­nih umjet­ni­ka. Ovogodišnja izlož­ba pri­ka­zu­je sli­ku labin­ske likov­ne suvre­me­nos­ti koja nosi iskaz osob­nog viđe­nja umjet­nos­ti. Tema ne name­će res­trik­tiv­nost, ne suža­va pros­tor stva­ra­nja, ne uvje­tu­je sadr­žaj ni teh­ni­ku. Ostavlja slo­bo­du i širo­ku plat­for­mu osob­nog izri­ča­ja, moguć­nost zapi­sa naj­in­tim­ni­jih niti koje pove­zu­ju život i umjet­nost, stvar­nost i zapa­žaj stvar­nos­ti, ono­ga u čemu autor naj­bo­lje pre­poz­na­je sebe. Selektor i autor pos­ta­va te pred­go­vo­ra kata­lo­ga je povjes­ni­čar­ka umjet­nos­ti Branka Arh. Grad Labin otku­pit će jedan rad za fun­dus Gradske gale­ri­je. Uzlet pra­ti izlož­ba stu­de­na­ta u Crkvici sv. Stjepana.

For the 14th year in a row the Town Lodge at the his­to­ri­cal cen­tre of Labin will host the tra­di­ti­onal event Labin Visual Takeoff. This year’s exhi­bi­ti­on will pre­sent wor­ks of 26 visu­al artis­ts. The 14th edi­ti­on of the exhi­bi­ti­on will repre­sent the con­tem­po­rary prac­ti­ce of visu­al art in Labin, which car­ri­es the expre­ssi­on of a per­so­nal view of art. The topic is not res­tric­ti­ve, it does not con­fi­ne the area of expre­ssi­on, nor it pres­cri­bes the con­tent or the tec­h­nique. It offers fre­edom and a wide plat­form for per­so­nal expre­ssi­on, the possi­bi­lity to record the most inti­ma­te thre­ads which con­nect life and art, reality and its reflec­ti­on, thin­gs which repre­sent the aut­hor in the best possi­ble way.

Works were selec­ted by Branka Arh, the art his­to­ri­an, who is also the aut­hor of the cata­lo­gue foreword.
